There are many ways you can contribute to our school’s success, and make a difference for our school and our students. In our school, this can include providing in-kind donations, contributing cash and lending expertise and technical knowledge. Connect with our principal on what may be appropriate. Fundraisers & Donations

Fundraising at Mountain Park School

Did You Know?

Mountain Park School Council runs only two fundraisers - the Casino and Healthy Hunger lunch program.

The Casino occurs every two years and generates approximately $65,000 for the school. Volunteers are required to work various shifts over a two-day period.

Healthy Hunger is an ongoing lunch program that raises in excess of $13,000 each year with profits generated from lunches purchased. Parents can support this fundraising option in two ways:

  1. Signing onto Healthy Hunger and purchasing food items for their child/student each week.
  2. Volunteering to help oversee the delivery of the fun lunches - one volunteer for one hour each week is required to run the program.

Over the last couple of years fundraising has been able to purchase items such as laptops, tablets, gym equipment and uniforms, math programs, robotics, printers, supplies and equipment for the art room, and equipment for the foods room.

Every student at Mountain Park benefits from the monies raised through these two fundraising programs. School Council’s hope is every parent can in someway contribute to the success of these programs by volunteering in one of the three ways available.

Currently, the Healthy Hunger program is looking for volunteers who can give one hour of their time to oversee the distribution of the fun lunch. The volunteer is needed to be at the school from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM on a Wednesday. Each volunteer will be provided the training necessary to oversee distribution. If you are able to volunteer, please email  mpsschoolcouncil@outlook.com.
