Kindergarten

First Days of School for Kindergarten

The first day of school is September 1, 2022. This will be a staggered entry day for our kindergarten class.

Your child will attend one of the 2 groups:

Last Name A-J - Group 1 - 8:45AM-10:00AM

Last Name K-Z - Group 2 - 10:15AM-11:30AM

September 2, 2022 will be a full class for all kindergarten students 8:30AM-11:10AM.

Please look for email communication from your class teacher in the last week of August about further details.

School Supplies

Student supplies are provided by the school for children in kindergarten through grade 6.

Students need to bring indoor shoes for school use, a healthy snack each day in kindergarten and a good size backpack. Kindergarten students do not have lunch at school.  Recommended items are their own water bottle (we do have water fountains as well) and a change of clothes (kept in backpack or at school).

If your child is taking medication at school or has health conditions that we should be aware of, please contact the office to have the necessary health forms filled out. Thank you.

Please click on the "Kindergarten at the CBE" link on this page for more information about the program, registration information, tips for parents and more.

Please also see the information under "Resource" on this page.

We don't have before/aftercare programs available on-site at the school building. However, several daycare providers in the area offer that service with transportation.

We look forward to welcoming your child to Mount View School in 2022-23.
