Learning Commons / Library

Due to COVID-19 protocols and our cohorts, we are altering how we use the commons and how our students can borrow materials.

The Learning Commons is at the heart of our school and provides a welcoming learning space for students to collaborate, inquire, create new knowledge and celebrate their learning.   The Learning Commons is committed to:

  • providing a positive and welcoming learning environment for all learners
  • supporting and encouraging a love of reading
  • developing responsible, effective and ethical users of information
  • offering technology access for all learners
  • fostering a passion for lifelong learning

Students are responsible for care of resources in our learning commons (books, computers etc.) and for renewing materials when needed. If an item is lost or damaged, there will be a replacement cost. Library cards are provided for all students at no cost at the beginning of the year.

Parent volunteers are very welcome.
