School & Grad Fees Due April 27! Posted Apr 6, 2023
Students will not be able to participate in the grad ceremony or banquet if they have any unpaid fees. Fees are due by Thursday, April 27th!
There are two types of fees:
- School fees: all students should pay these, regardless of grad status.
- Grad fee: only pay this if you are currently a "yes" on the grad list.
- You must pay your school fees before paying your grad fee. The grad fee is $75 before tax, and $78.75 with tax. If you are paying in-person, you must bring exact change. The business office is open from 8:30 - 9 am and then again at lunch.
- Rather than paying in-person, we prefer that you pay online through a parent/guardian PowerSchool account. The fees do not show up on the student side of PowerSchool.
- Questions about fees can be directed to Ms. Ritu Gupta in the business office.
Important April 4th Deadline & Banquet Guest Applications
Be up to date in your courses by April 4th!
- If you aren't passing a course due to unsubmitted work or unwritten assessments, you must complete those by April 4th. There are only 6 school days until April 4th, so talk to your teachers and start making a plan now about how you plan to meet the April 4th deadline.
- You must also be done 50% of any online courses you're taking by April 4th.
Grad Banquet Guest Applications
Are you planning on bringing a guest (family, friends, significant other, etc.) to the grad banquet? You MUST fill out a Guest Application Form for each person you are planning on bringing with you.
- Guests include parents, siblings, other family members, current or former Mandela students, & friends/significant others from other schools. Students must submit an application for each guest they are thinking of inviting.
- You are encouraged to submit an application even if you aren’t sure that the person will be attending. Tickets purchased for unapproved guests will not be honored at the event. Refunds will not be provided for tickets purchased for unapproved guests.
- The application form will remain open until Tuesday, April 11th. After that, no new applications will be considered.
Reminder: check the grad list & pay your school/grad fees! See the announcement from March 14th for details.
