Volunteering at New Brighton
Parental involvement is a vital component of school programs. At New Brighton School we encourage parents to become involved in our Volunteer Program, School Council and/or Fundraising Society. Volunteers play an important role. Through volunteer assistance, we are able to enhance the educational opportunities for our students. We recognize the value and encourage the use of volunteers in our school.
All parents are welcome to volunteer. Generally volunteers assist teachers by providing service on a long-term or short-term basis. Some examples of support service activities are listening to children read, making math games, assisting on field trips, assisting in sports events, play days, working in the library and helping with fund-raising events.
