You are

Principal's Message

Message from Principal Flaman

Dear Nickle School Parents and Guardians,
As the month of January ends, I wanted to send a quick message to the school community expressing how impressed I have been with the students at Nickle. Along with the Nickle staff, I wanted to communicate how happy we are to have students back in our building for in person learning, as the building is lit up with energy, which was sorely lacking during the at-home learning time.  Safety around COVID-19 continues to be at the forefront of safety procedures at our school, but has also become quite normalized for everyone, as these routines become part of a regular day for everyone.  We continue to thank you for your support, compassion and understanding relating to school and systemic changes in response to COVID-19.
Report cards will be available on Tuesday February 2, if you have any questions or concerns I encourage you to reach out to your students’ teacher. I strongly believe the best education for students occurs when families are working and communicating with their teachers to support student learning. If you have any general, questions or concerns please reach out to either Karena Munroe, our Assistant Principal, or myself.
