LC Activities

December was all about making snowflakes.  We made intricate paper snowflakes in maker club, and created symmetrical snowflakes on our activity board grid.

In January and February our maker club will be creating Zentangle art, yarn creations and valentines inspired art.  Our brainstorm board will be giving the students a chance to work on their creative writing with story starters and 6 word stories. We may even delve into some Madlibs for a laugh.

Lunchtime clubs (after eating in classrooms)

Monday- Grade 5 board game club and grade 6 homework club.

Tuesday- Maker club (grade 5's and 6's alternating weeks)

Wednesday- Grade 6 board game club and grade 5 homework club.

Thursday- Grades 7,8 & 9 board game and manga club.

Safety First

For everyone's peace of mind, this is a reminder of the the safety procedures that we are diligently following.

-Prior to perusing the shelves for books all students are sanitizing their hands.

-Tables are being sanitized after students use them.

-Grade cohorts are being distanced.
