Oki, Tansi, Hello Families,
I hope everyone had a nice weekend and were able to enjoy the sun! It’s the last week before the Winter break and there are so many things to look forward to this week at school. Everyday this month we have had a little visitor that hides in a new place every night for the kids to come and find. Our own Elf on the Shelf is definitely a hit! I still haven’t found out what its name is, however some of the options the kids have told me are:
🎄Willow (I like this one!)
As students arrive to class, they take off their winter gear and eagerly with their teachers, go searching for our elf - they have so much fun! I was able to take a snap shot of the fun place it set up shop. The most important thing to know is that we cannot touch the Elf because if we do, it looses its powers! However, my own daughters told me over the weekend that if someone does touch the elf, it’s okay because all you have to do is sprinkle cinnamon on it and the magical powers are restored! Phew!
We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Thursday, December 19 at 12:30 pm for our Winter Celebration! It's going to be a lot of fun listening to the Christmas songs performed by our students and we appreciate all of the hard work they have put in preparing for their performances!
See you soon.
