Parking & Drop-Off

Please enter the school at the East main door.

School Parking Lot

The only reserved sports in our parking lot are for handicapped individuals and our Elders.  You are welcome to park in any other free stall or on the street, observing city bylaws.

Supervision

Supervision starts at 8:25 AM. In the interest of safety, all students should not be dropped off any earlier than 8:25 AM as the front doors are locked and there will not be supervision until this time.

Students are escorted at the end of the day to their school bus at 3:05 PM, if a student is being picked up they are escorted and supervised in our Family Room and must be signed out by a parent, assigned driver, or a designated contact (call the office to confirm).

Picking Your Child Up

A sign-out book is kept inside the main office. No student will be permitted to leave with an individual that is not a contact on the student’s demographic list. There are times were a special arrangement for pick up occurs, parents can call the school office to let us know of these arrangements, or send a note, or come in to the office to sign out the child. Please also help us to be aware of any custody agreements that may dictate who your child is permitted to leave the school with.

If you are picking your children up early for appointments or arrive late for pickup, please pick up your children in our Family Room. In the interest of safety, children are not to stand alone outside.

Please note that upon dismissal, all students will be supervised to their assign school bus by their teacher. If an alternate bus arrangement needs to be made, parents please call the office or send in a note including the date. Please arrive on time to pick up your child at the end of the school day.

Driving/Drop-Off for Preschool

Parents who are driving their children to school are asked to wait inside the Family Room until staff arrive to walk children to the classroom.
