​​​Parent-teacher conferences are an opportunity to engage in conversation about your child’s learning. Parents/guardians and teachers are able to connect face-to-face and communicate openly about student learning, especially with respect to areas of strength and areas of growth. They help build and sustain respectful relationships that allow both parties to share information and develop strategies to support student success.​​​

Meet the Teacher Open House:

Thursday, September 21, 2023: Evening Meet the Teacher Open House

This Open House evening will provide families an opportunity to see the school, the classroom, and their child's preliminary work, as well as to meet the teacher.  As school will have only been in for three weeks, this evening is not a formal conference.  We ask that families fill in and return the Parent Questionnaire to provide important information that the teacher needs prior to this date.

Parent / Teacher Conferences (Student Learning Conferences):

Conferences are scheduled for:

November 23, 2023: Evening Student Learning Conferences

November 24, 2023:  Daytime Student Learning Conferences

March 21, 2024: Evening Student Learning Conferences

March 22, 2024: Daytime Student Learning Conferences

These important parent / teacher conferences are additional opportunities for parents to check in formally on student success and achievement – and for students to share their efforts and strategies for learning with parents too. 

How to Book a Parent-Teacher-Student Conference

1.     Log-in to MyCBE / PowerSchool. (If you do not have an account, follow the Create a MyCBE Account instructions.)

2.     Click on the My School Conferences icon.

3.     Click on the time slot that is available and convenient for you. Ensure pop-up windows are allowed.

4.     In the pop-up window, you will choose your child (you have the option to enter the student's name), the name of the parent / guardian is pre-filled, but can also be changed.

​How to Book a School Conference

  1. Log-in to MyCBE​.

  2. Click on the My School Conferences icon.

​​​Create a MyCBE Account

  1. Go to www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe and click on the “Create Parent Account” link.

    Important: the email that you are using to create your account must be the same one you have provided to the school. If you are unsure, please contact the school office.

  2. Once you have created an account, you will receive a confirmation email. 

  3. After your account is confirmed, you can login to the system.​
