Physical Education

Physical Education supports you in acquiring skills through a variety of developmentally appropriate movement activities. You will gain experience within various physical activities assisting you in further understanding health and wellness benefits, promoting positive interactions and leading an active lifestyle.

NCS Physical Education - Scope and Assessment

Physical Education is a key component of every student in Grade 4 - 9 at Nose Creek School. Students participate in a daily block of P.E. throughout the entire school year. It is a energetic atmosphere in Kodiak Phys-Ed with the opportunity to learn, grow and improve skill from week to week. 

Students at Nose Creek will be graded in three separate Outcomes on a scale of 1 - 4. The outcomes are as follows:   

  • Performs and refines movement skills
  • Cooperates to demonstrate fair play and teamwork
  • Explores strategies for leading a healthy, active way of life
