There are many ways you can contribute to our school’s success, and make a difference for our school and our students. In our school, this can include providing in-kind donations, contributing cash and lending expertise and technical knowledge. Connect with our principal on what may be appropriate. For more information on ways to give to CBE, visit Donate on the CBE website.

Fundraisers & Donations

Casino

Huge THANK YOU to all the families that volunteered to work at our Casino on November 7th and 8th, 2019! Your time, support, and commitment is so appreciated. This event takes many volunteers to be successful and we were able to provide all the people needed to make it a huge success! Our portion of the gaming proceeds will be paid out by the AGLC in February (expected to be approximately $70,000). The OHS Parent Association is able to provide this money to the school for resources such as technology, literacy, mathematics, field trips, inquiry support and more.  We look forward to your support to do it all again in 2021!

Cobs Bread Aspen Landing Shopping Centre will donate a portion of sales to OHS using the code 2134.

Loveable Labels will donate a portion of sales to OHS, order at wwwOHPA.lovablelabels.ca

Skip the Depot  (Fundraiser for Bottle Collection)

Olympic Heights School has been registered with Skip the Depot. They are a bottle collection service that can collect anywhere in the city.  The great advantage for you, is that by donating your bottles/cans/containers, you can have them picked up from your residence which saves a trip to the depot; or you can drop them yourself at a depot of your choice.  You can choose a one-time pick up or, have regular scheduled pickups as often or as little as you like.  70% of the money from your bottles/cans etc. will go directly to help support our in-school needs if you choose the residential pick up, and 90% if you drop off yourself and select Olympic Heights Elementary as the benefactor.

To register, use the following link:  https://app.skipthedepot.com/olympicheightsschool

Just leave your bags out wherever you would like them collected and Skip the Depot will do the rest! If you know anyone else who would like to use this service, you may refer them to the above link, and the funds will be allocated to Olympic Heights.

Email fundraising@ohsparent.com if you have any questions.
