First Day of Classes 

Our first day of classes is on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 and the school office is open to parents on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021.

Assigned Teachers 

On the first day of school, all students will come to the back of the school between 8:10 AM-8:25 AM. Grade signs will be posted and teachers will be outside to help you find your child(ren)'s teacher. Students will join their new teacher and classroom in a group outside before entering the school. Students do not need to purchase and bring any school supplies to school. All needed materials will be provided to them when they arrive at school.

Kindergarten 

Kindergarten learners that register at the school will receive information about Staggered Entry by mail before August 17, 2021. Regular classes will begin the following week. New Kindergarten families should please come to the office during office hours to register (Office opens Aug. 12, 2021)

​​Do You Have a MyCBE / PowerSchool Parent Account?

Parents who have not already done so, must create an account in MyCBE / PowerSchool to:

  • Pay fees or apply for a waiver

  • Register for transportation and lunch supervision

  • View student progress

To create a new account, go to www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe and click on Create Parent Account. You will need to have your child(ren)’s CBE Student ID Number and use your email on file at the school.​

​​Fees and Waivers

School fees will be charged to families starting in October. Online fee payment is the simplest and most convenient way to pay school fees. Parents can use their online account to pay fees or apply for a waiver at: www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe.

​​Yellow School Bus Tra​nsportation

Yellow school bus routes for the 2021-22 school year are created o​ver the summer and based on the addresses submitted before the pre-registration deadline in June. Transportation continues to accept registrations after the deadline; however, students are added to the closest existing stop with available space. Processing times could be up to six weeks at the beginning of the school year due to volume.

Your bus stop location and time will be available in your MyCBE / PowerSchool account by mid-August.

Conditional riders can also register using MyCBE / PowerSchool. Applications will be considered after eligible riders registrations have been processed.
