Regular Program at the CBE

Even though most of our schools offer a regular program, no two are quite the same. All schools teach according to Alberta Education’s mandated curriculum, however a school’s focus, optional courses and school activities are as unique as every school.

Program, Focus & Approach

Full Day Kindergarten

For the 2022 and 2023 school year, we have two Full Day Kindergarten classes. The students will come to school at the same time as the regular program students. Students can also enroll for the lunchroom program.

LEAD Program

We have two Literacy English and Development classrooms in our school. Students that are placed into this specialized program are refugees. One main focus is to develop English Language Arts skills. This is a two year program with students in grades 4 to 6. Many of our students may live out of area and require transportation set up. Students will also be enrolled in our lunchroom program.
