About Our School

Pineridge School is a multiage-classroom school located in the northeast community of Pineridge. It is one of four suburban communities known as The Properties. The Pineridge community is well served with many amenities utilized by the school including: the Village Square Library, the Village Square Leisure Centre, the Boys and Girls Club, daycare facilities, and shopping areas.

The students attending Pineridge represent a wide variety of cultures and languages. The complex and diverse nature of the school community reflects the composition of Area IV, with 37.4% of the student population identified as English Language Learners and approximately 9.7% as Aboriginal learners, and 26.3% of the students having special education needs. Pineridge also has two Communication, Sensory and Social Interaction (CSSI) classes that serve students from throughout Area III. CSSI Information Pineridge School is in Area III, one of five areas in the Calgary Board of Education. The students continue their educational journey at Clarence Sansom Junior High and Lester B. Pearson High School.
