Please visit our COVID-19 page for the most up-to-date information. Our plan is subject to change throughout the school year as more information becomes available.

One way parents/guardians can make a meaningful difference for students is by participating on our school’s parent society. Parent societies are a formal group of parents, incorporated under the Societies Act for the purpose of raising funds for the school. A society is a separate legal entity from the school council. The school principal is not part of this group. More information can be found in our CBE Administrative Regulation 5001 – School Councils and School/Parent Societies.

Parent Society

Our Parent Society is Known as the Queen Elizabeth Elementary Parent Enhancement Society

Casino funding is one of the primary ways in which QES funds extra technology needs like laptop computers and new Smartboards, special residency opportunities, new P.E. equipment, Razkids, STEAM resources, financial support to cover a portion of the bus costs for swimming and much more. Without the Casino funding we would notice a significant decrease in materials, supports and exciting opportunities for students.

Meeting Dates/Schedule

All Parents are invited to attend.

Links to Parent Society agendas and minutes can be found under Resources (to the right of the page). For School Council agendas and minutes, click here.

QEEPES meetings typically follow right after School Council meetings.
