Traffic Safety

Ensuring our students get to school safely is everyone’s responsibility. Please be mindful of crosswalks, parking rules and speed limits when you are near our schools, especially during the morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal times.

Parking & Drop-Off

Parking Near the School

Do not use either, Queen Elizabeth School or Queen Elizabeth High School parking lots for drop off or pick up during school hours.

Please do not park near the cross walk areas. It makes it very unsafe for the school patrol team and community members. Constable Ross reminds us all that it is safety over convenience.

Thank you to all parents and visitors for making safety a priority when it comes to driving and parking in and around the school.

Patrols

The patrol team currently has many grade 5 & 6 students. Thank you for making their jobs easier by following the crossing rules. Dismounting bikes and scooters in a crosswalk is required at all times. We also ask that you avoid talking with the team when they are on duty. Concentration and focus is very important in this role.
