About Us

Rideau Park School at a Glance

Rideau Park School is a unique school of approximately 420 students located in central Calgary.  Our K-9 school community fosters a collaborative environment with a focus on empowering ethical citizens that exhibit integrity, persistence, creativity and an entrepreneurial spirit.  Through diverse learning and engaging in our local and global communities, each student will have the opportunity to ignite their passion.

Rideau students are engaged learners who are willing to take risks while demonstrating empathy and citizenship within our community.  We have an opportunity to influence one another through positive relationships.

Our academic program, our outstanding maker space, along with supporting complementary classes provide our students with a challenging learning environment where they can safely take risks and identify areas of strength as well as areas for growth as they personalize their learning.

Through our technology platforms our students are able to make their learning visible, self assess and provide meaningful feedback to themselves and their peers as they seek authentic curricular connections.

The Rideau Park community is very proud of our values:

Empathy, Open-Mindedness, Integrity
