If your child is registered for Lunch Supervision and will be away during the lunch hour, please advise us by leaving a voicemail.  

Lunch Supervision

The Calgary Board of Education provides students with the option to stay at school for lunch. Lunch Supervision is offered to all students in Grades 1- 6 and in our full-day kindergarten programs for an annual fee. Please visit our Lunch Supervision page for more information.

Lunch Schedule

Monday - Thursday:  

Kindergarten and Grade 2

10:30am – 11:10 am

Grade 1 and Grade 3

11:15 am – 11:55 am

Grades 4, 5 and 6

12:00 pm – 12:40 pm

Fridays:  No Lunch / Early Dismissal at 12:20 PM for All Students

In Our Lunchroom

There is no access to microwaves for students. Due to safety concerns, hot water is not available for student lunches.

Fun Lunches

Fun lunches are periodically scheduled and give our students an opportunity to eat lunch, socialize with their friends at school and take part in special activities.  

Allergies

Riverbend has several students and staff who have severe allergies to a variety of nuts. Please take this into consideration when sending nutritious snacks and lunches to school with your children. We all need to do our part to ensure the safety of everyone at Riverbend School.
