Traffic Safety

Ensuring our students get to school safely is everyone’s responsibility. Please be mindful of crosswalks, parking rules and speed limits when you are near our schools, especially during the morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal times.

Parking & Drop-Off

Parking

Parents are reminded that there is no parking in the Staff Parking Lot. Please do not use this area to pick up or drop off children unless you or your child are handicapped.

Parking for parents is available in the community parking lot adjacent to the school. Our Drop-Off Zone, at the North doors of the school, is meant only for very brief stops to allow children to get out of, or into, a vehicle. Traffic can come to a standstill on Rivervalley Drive when parents do not use the Drop-Off Zone properly. Please park elsewhere and meet your children at a designated spot if a brief stop will not work for you. Caution must be used when crossing from the community parking lot to the school. This continues to be a real safety concern as we have CBE vehicles entering the parking lot as well as vehicles using the wheelchair access. Please use the sidewalk.

Student Supervision

Our school has student supervision at set times. To view these hours see our Contact Us page.
