Our Learning Commons

Welcome to the RTHS LC: your source for credible, reliable academic resources and information! 

We have introduced new protocols to keep you safe. 

YES, IN-PERSON AND HUB STUDENTS CAN BORROW MATERIALS DURING THE PANDEMIC!

For staff and student safety during Covid-19, the RTHS Learning Commons is offering touch-less browsing and sign out:

                    How to Request a Library Book:  In-person Students

1.  Use the ELibrary Online Catalogue to find books in our collection. Be sure to log into ELibrary to make sure you are         searching for books available only at RTHS.            

     A video showing you how to navigate ELibrary is available here. 

     If you have questions please email the LC staff at Library-880@cbe.ab.ca 

2. Once you have identified items you wish to borrow, submit a Request for Materials form. You must be signed into            your @educbe.ca account to access the form.

     In ELibrary you can also click on the Request for Materials link.

3. Learning Commons staff will locate and deliver the sanitized book(s) to you in class.

4. Please return all items to the book return slot located outside of the LC by the plant wall.

5. When materials are returned, they will be quarantined for 72 hours before being returned to the shelves.

3.  LC staff will locate the book(s) and email you at your educbe.ca account to arrange pick-up.

5.  When materials are returned, they will be quarantined for 72 hours before being returned to the shelves.

Borrowing Rules

Items can be signed out for 3 weeks and renewed if needed. Please email LC staff to arrange an extended loan.

Monday - Thursday 8:15 AM – 3:15 PM
Friday 8:15 AM - 1:35 PM
