Students who are ill and cannot remain in class should ask the teacher's permission to report to the office. Parents will be contacted to determine treatment and the student may be sent home. If a student appears to be seriously ill, the school will always err on the side of caution and contact Emergency Medical Services.
If students are injured at school, trained staff will provide first aid. If an injury appears serious, the staff will call EMS immediately. School staff cannot supply any medication to students. Also, remember to keep the school administration updated regarding any significant medical problems.
Allergies | Nut-Aware School
Parents of children with allergies must fill out appropriate forms (also available in the office). We ask that parents who are sending in classroom treats avoid tree nuts including peanuts. Use of perfumes and colognes should be avoided as these are allergens for some students as well.
