Srta. Soltesz

¡Buenos días!

I am Srta. Soltész and I am the grade 8 and 9 Spanish language arts teacher.  I have a Masters in Language & Diversity and over a decade of experience teaching in the Spanish bilingual program.  As the Spanish bilingual Learning Leader here at Robert Warren, I support quality teaching and optimum learning for all students.  As a team, the Robert Warren teachers collaborate to design tasks that engage students in worthwhile work that is authentic to the discipline, and connects students to the world beyond the school.

Assignments: This semester, the students will be using Google Classroom for all course related content.  Students are provided with class time on the Chromebooks and each assignment comes with supporting material such as videos, articles, rubrics, checklists, extra practice, etc.  Due dates will normally be at 11:59 p.m. so that students who were not able to complete their work in class have the opportunity to finish at home.  That being said, due dates may change if I notice that as a class they require more time.

Course Materials:

- headphones that plug into the Chromebooks

- highlighters of various colours for annotation

Thank you for your time and I look forward to working together in support of your child's learning.
