I'm looking forward to meeting your child and learning together throughout the year. I will meet your child at the front of the school on the first day of school. Please read through the following notices to help make the start of the year as smooth as possible.
Communication
Class Website- please check our class website each week for updates, important information, and student work.
Student agenda- this tool will be used daily to communicate information from school to home. Important handouts will be sent in the front pocket of the agenda.
Email & Phone- crkensley@cbe.ab.ca or call the school at (403) 777-8240.
Reminders
-Every student must have a pair of indoor running shoes that are appropriate for participation in all gym activities.
-It would also be beneficial if students could have their own set of headphones at school for use with computers.
-Cell phones are not to be used during school hours. If you need to contact your child, please do so through the office. Students will be expected to keep cell phones in their backpacks.
-Children are encouraged to leave valuable items at home to avoid damage or loss of these items.
-Children are encouraged to bring their own water bottles and a daily healthy snack to school. It is recommended that the bottle be returned home and washed at the end of every week to prevent the build up of bacteria and the spreading of germs.
-To avoid the loss of personal items, please ensure that all belongings are labeled.
