It is expected that good taste and judgment be exercised in the selection of clothing worn to school. Clothing such as halter-type tops, muscle type T-shirts, revealing midriffs, extremely short shorts, and clothing with inappropriate sayings or logos are not to be worn to school. Students must also come to school appropriately dressed for the weather and prepared to spend some time outside during the day. Suitable footwear, that will allow students to work and play in comfort without risk to health and safety, is expected to be worn at all times. All students are asked to remove hats upon entering the building.
Footwear
Parents are asked to provide each child with indoor footwear to be used daily in the classrooms. As all students are required to wear running shoes for gym activities, we suggest that runners work best as indoor shoes. To help keep our school clean, outdoor footwear is removed upon entry.
Physical Education
Each child requires both an indoor and outdoor pair of runners. Their indoor pair of runners will need to be kept at school. Clean running shoes are required so that the floors are not damaged by gravel in the treads. For safety reasons, children will not be able to participate in gym without an indoor pair of runners.
