Who Was R.T. Rundle?
The school was named after the Reverend R.T. Rundle, who was born in Mylor, Cornwall, England, on June 11, 1811. From 1840 to 1858, he served as a Methodist missionary on the western prairies. He was the first Christian missionary to live in Alberta. He died in England in 1885. Mount Rundle, near Banff, is also named after Reverend Rundle.
