Student Learning Assessments (SLAs) are digitally-based provincial assessment tools for Grade 3 that enable both parents and teachers to identify student strengths and areas of growth at the start of the school year. This assessment focuses on "literacy and numeracy". Visit the CBE website for more information on provincial testing.

SLAs are meant to complement, not replace, day-to-day teacher observations and classroom assessment.

Important Date:

Student Learning Update #1: paper copy will be sent home November 27th, 2020

Report Card #1: will be available electronically Feb 1-5 (exact date to be determined)

Student Learning Update #2: paper copy to be sent home April 16, 2021

Report Card #2: will be available electronically June 26, 2021
