You Have Been Warned
If you have Approver access on your site, you will be able to delete
or modify posts from other Approvers as well. Be extremely cautious
before deleting to ensure that you are not deleting someone else’ work
unintentionally, because they've read this page, and they expect that
you have, too.
As with editing a post, there are two ways to delete a post: navigating to it directly, or finding it using SiteGovern.
Remove Story from Homepage
This options removes the story from the homepage, but does not permanently delete it (never to be seen again)Removing a story from your homepage is done through the Scheduler.
See Spotlight & More News Zones for instructions. - instead it moves it only to the news centre, allowing users to find this information if you think they may require it again. This options is good for schools wanting stories for archival purposes.
Method 1 - Delete Directly
To delete a post completely from the system (home page and news centre), as well as any attachments or images related to the post, navigate to the post in the website, click on gear icon and choose Delete Post.

Method 2 – SiteGovern-Recent Contents
If you have created a post but not yet published it, this is the only way to delete it.
In SiteGovern, go to Recent Contents and choose Posts from the dropdown.
Then click “Delete” beside the post you want to banish forever:
