The Calgary Board of Education continues to plan for the health measures that may be in place for the next school year. More details will be shared with families before the first day of classes.

First Day of Classes

Our first day of classes is September 1, 2021 and the school office is open to parents on August 27, 2021 @ 9:00 am..

The first day of classes we will have a staggered entry as follows: 

            Grade 5,7 and PLP – First day is September 1, 2021

            All grades – September 2, 2021

School Supplies

Grades 5, 6 and PLP - school will be supplying supplies for students.

Grades 7-9 – students are responsible for school supplies. Here is the supply list.

All students – Back pack, water bottle

OPTIONAL: There is an on-line store for students in grades 7-9 (not PLP) to purchase a grade school kit if parents choose to do. This is an option for order supplies, families are always welcome to purchase from a retailer of their choice. If you choose to utilize the on-line store, it is available until July 30th as the company needs to organize the items and deliver them to students’ homes. The Store will re-open again on August 1, 2021 and remain open until August 14,2021. August orders will be considered LATE ORDERS. They will do everything we can to get the products in your hands before the start of school however there may be some delays. 

If further products are required throughout the school year those orders can be placed on www.schoolsrc.caIndicate if your school has supplies or supply lists, if your school does not, then mention this.

Do You Have a MyCBE / PowerSchool Parent Account?

Parents who have not already done so, must create an account in MyCBE / PowerSchool to:

  • Pay fees or apply for a waiver

  • Register for transportation and noon supervision

  • View student progress

To create a new account, go to and click on Create Parent Account. You will need to have your child(ren)’s CBE Student ID Number and use your email on file at the school.​

​Fees and Waivers

School fees will be charged to families starting in October. Online fee payment is the simplest and most convenient way to pay school fees. Parents can use their online account to pay fees or apply for a waiver at:

​​Yellow School Bus Tra​nsportation

Yellow school bus routes for the 2021-22 school year are created o​ver the summer and based on the addresses submitted before the pre-registration deadline in June. Transportation continues to accept registrations after the deadline; however, students are added to the closest existing stop with available space. Processing times could be up to six weeks at the beginning of the school year due to volume.

Your bus stop location and time will be available in your MyCBE / PowerSchool account by mid-August.

Conditional riders can also register using MyCBE / PowerSchool. Applications will be considered after eligible riders registrations have been processed.
