Lunchtime

The bell rings at 12:00 noon and the grade 3/4 cohorts go outside for a movement break while the grade 1/2 cohorts eat their lunch. At 12:20 grade 3/4 students transition inside to eat their lunch and the grade 1/2 students go outside for their movement break. Classes will resume at 12:50.  Students are to remain seated at their assigned table spot in their classrooms, keeping in mind these important expectations:

  • Treat others with kindness and respect
  • Follow directions the first time
  • Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself
  • Use appropriate language – verbal and body

Noon Supervision

All students attending the Lunch Program were required to register and pay the Noon Supervision fee. There is also an Optional Activity fee for students who stay for lunch. This yearly optional fee of $10 has been added to your My CBE account. This fee covers items such as playground equipment for students to use during lunchtime supervision. For more information, see our Noon Supervision page. Students must have their own utensils for lunch.

Fun Lunches

Every year the School Council Special Events Committee puts together fun lunches for the students. This year we have simplified the vendors and are pleased to offer nine fun lunches from October to June. See our Calendar page for exact dates.

Allergies

Scenic Acres School is an “Allergy Aware” School. Please let us know if your child has food allergies and requires support. For more information about this and other health concerns visit our Illness & Medical page.
