Pies and Plants Fundraiser

Hello, Scenic Acres School is excited to announce the launch of 2 fundraisers.  We have partnered with Pie Junkie and Growing Smiles to provide wonderful products that will make your summer brighter.   They will begin April 25th and close May 19th, 2022.

 Pie Junkie and Bakery $25 or $50 Gift Certificates

We will be offering gift certificates in $25 or $50 denominations to be used at Pie Junkie and Bakery.  Perfect for gifts or gatherings this summer, they offer a wonderful variety of savory and sweet pies along with many other baked goods.

 

Send in the attached completed order form with cash or cheque to your students teacher or you can directly contact Ashley at 403-200-7369 to arrange alternate drop off of order form and payment.  When paying by cheque make payable to SASES or Scenic Acres School Enhancement Society.  The order deadline will be May 19th, 2022. Pick up will be June 4th along with the growing smiles orders.

Growing Smiles

We are selling beautiful plants to raise money for our programs.  Plants are a great way to encourage our friends to get out into the garden while choosing to support a healthy fundraiser.

SPECIAL EVENTS:

Our Special Events team is pleased to be able to offer fun lunches for our Grade 1-4 students and fun snacks for all grades (including our Kindergarten students),  through our partnership with Healthy Hunger.  This year we will be offering lunches from Subway and Boston Pizza and are looking at some new fun snack options.  Please see  below for instructions on how to register your child for the Healthy Hunger Program.  You must re-register your child each year.  The cut off date for ordering lunches/snacks is 5 days prior to the upcoming lunch/snack with the online ordering system.  There are no exceptions.  So, for a Thursday lunch you must order by midnight of the preceding Sunday.  Mark your calendars!  The following are the dates for the fun lunches and snacks for the upcoming year:

Ways to give to our school include:

Monetary (cash) donation

  • I wish to receive a tax receipt for my donation. Tax receipts will be issued for donations of $20 or more.
    • Visit the EducationMatters online donation webpage to make a donation. (Preferred donation method)
