Fundraisers & Donations

3rd Annual Cinco de Mayo Fundraiser

The SPB Parent Association is holding its 3rd annual Cinco de Mayo Community Builder and Fundraiser!  Admission is $25 and includes a beverage (alcoholic/non) and a burger with fries. Please note the event is on May 2nd - because Saturday isn't a school night 😉  Our event will be held at our neighbourhood Kilkenny Pub. This event is open to all adults.

In addition to games and merriment, we will draw the winners of the WestJet Raffle prizes and have door prizes totalling more than $3500! Our goal this year is to sell ALL 2000 of the available WestJet raffle tickets. If each family commits to purchasing either 1 raffle ticket ($10 each) or 3 raffle tickets (for $20), we could raise $14,000 to help support the school – benefitting students this year and years to come!  All funds raised will be used towards the purchase of more chrome books to compliment the set of 40 the PA purchased earlier this year. Can't attend, then please consider making a donation.

Ways to give to our school include:

Monetary (cash) donation

  • I wish to receive a tax receipt for my donation. Tax receipts will be issued for donations of $20 or more.
    • Visit the EducationMatters online donation webpage to make a donation. (Preferred donation method)
    • Write a cheque payable to EducationMatters  (all one word) and include the name of our school and the specific program, activity or item you want your donation to support in the 'memo' section. Give the cheque to the school or mail it to: EducationMatters, 1221 8 Street SW Calgary, AB T2R 0L4
  • I do not wish to receive a tax receipt for my donation
    • ​Write a cheque made payable to Calgary Board of Education  and include the name of our school and the specific program, activity or item you want your donation to support in the 'memo' section. Give the cheque to the school.

In-kind donations of school supplies or equipment
