School Spirit

Assemblies/Special Events

The school hosts numerous special events such as Remembrance Day Assembly, and the Celebration of Learning, as well as seasonal Band and Music concerts, Drama productions, Art shows and Sporting Events. These events are held from time to time. Parents, guardians, and friends are invited to attend these events, which will be listed on our Calendar page.

Community Involvement

Sherwood students are involved in their community and as global citizens in many ways. They donate food to the Food Bank and participate in the Hitmen Be Brave Game.

Grade 9 Farewell

In June of each year Grade 9 students celebrate their time at Sherwood with a celebration event. These festivities are accompanied by the Grade 9 Stage Crossing Ceremony at the school.

Sherwood students transitioning to Grade 10 who live in Lynnwood, Ogden and Riverbend are designated to Henry Wisewood High School.  All students living in Mahogany are designated to Joane Cardinal-Schubert High School.
