There are many ways you can contribute to our school’s success, and make a difference for our school and our students. In our school, this can include providing in-kind donations, contributing cash and lending expertise and technical knowledge. Connect with our principal on what may be appropriate. Sherwood School Fundraising Initiatives

Our Fundraising initiatives are very important and allow us to offer significant program enhancements; student fundraising brings money directly back to the school to ensure that we can (and have) offer(ed) programs such as:

  • Grade 9 Farewell Celebrations
    • HELP SUPPORT OUR 2019 SHERWOOD SCHOOL GRADE 9 FAREWELL
We are very proud to be celebrating another Sherwood school grade 9 farewell with the class of 2019. As part of the celebration and ceremony, the grade 9 students are collecting funds this year by selling Purdy’s chocolates! A portion of the proceeds collected will be donated to the graduation to offset costs. We are hoping for the support of our Sherwood families with this initiative. If you are interested in placing an order for our fundraiser, please contact your local grade 9 student and they will be happy to take your order just in time for EASTER!
    • Bake sales
    • Bottle drive
  • Student Recognition/Awards
  • Fieldtrips
  • Technology initiatives
  • PE Equipment
  • Athletic uniforms
  • New equipment and supplies for complementary programs
  • Picnic Tables
  • New books for the library
