There are many ways you can contribute to our school’s success, and make a difference for our school and our students. In our school, this can include providing in-kind donations, contributing cash and lending expertise and technical knowledge. Connect with our principal on what may be appropriate. 2022-23 Fundraisers

Healthy Hunger (On-Going) - The Sibylla Kiddle Fundraising Society is holding a series of fun lunches and snacks for our students this year. To register your child, go to You will be able to add your student under “settings” once you register for your account if you do not already have one. You can add, cancel, or edit your order up to 5 days before the lunch/snack event. Parents are also able to order for their kindergarten students! Please ensure that when you order the lunch/snack, it is on the day that your child has school.  New dates for the 2022-23 school year are coming soon.

Loonies for Literacy - Our school is raising funds for books for our school library. Check out the Loonies for Literacy flyer on the right hand side of this webpage for information on how you can donate to this cause.

Purdy's Chocolates - Get your Easter chocolates and support Sibylla Kiddle School at the same time.  Ordering is now open with pick-up at Sibylla Kiddle School on March 23!

Art Cards for Kids - Back by popular demand- students will be creating art in their classrooms in the coming weeks and you will have the opportunity to purchase cards and other items with your child’s art on it!  Watch for more information about this fundraiser in April.

Coco Brooks Pizza and Spolumbo's Sausages - For the first time at Sibylla Kiddle School we will be doing a Coco Brooks Pizza and Splumbo’s campaign leading into the Spring so you can stock up for BBQ season and those busy outdoor activity nights!  Watch for more information coming in April.

Spring Dance - Join your friends in the school gym on May 4th and dance the night away with a DJ, snacks, and games.  More information about this event will be available in late April.

Orange Shirts - Every year in June for National Indigenous People’s Day and in September for Orange Shirt Day students are invited to wear their orange shirts to school.  This year we will be selling orange shirts in support of an Indigenous organization.  More information about this will be available in May.

Ways to give to our school include:

Monetary (cash) donation

  • I wish to receive a tax receipt for my donation. Tax receipts will be issued for donations of $20 or more.
    • Visit the EducationMatters online donation webpage to make a donation. (Preferred donation method)
    • Write a cheque payable to EducationMatters  (all one word) and include the name of our school and the specific program, activity or item you want your donation to support in the 'memo' section. Give the cheque to the school or mail it to: EducationMatters, 1221 8 Street SW Calgary, AB T2R 0L4
  • I do not wish to receive a tax receipt for my donation
    • ​Write a cheque made payable to Calgary Board of Education  and include the name of our school and the specific program, activity or item you want your donation to support in the 'memo' section. Give the cheque to the school.
