Please visit our COVID-19 page for the most up-to-date information. Our plan is subject to change throughout the school year as more information becomes available.

One way parents/guardians can make a meaningful difference for students is by participating on our school’s parent society. Under the School Act, a parent society is a formal group of parents, incorporated under the Societies Act for the purpose of raising funds for the school. A society is a separate legal entity from the school council. The school principal is not part of this group. More information can be found in our CBE Administrative Regulation 5001 – School Councils and School/Parent Societies.

Unlike the School Council, membership in the Sibylla Kiddle Fundraising Society is not automatic as a result of being a parent at Sibylla Kiddle. To become a member you must complete a membership form (see Resources on the side of this page) and submit it to SibyllaKiddleCouncil@gmail.com. Membership is free and gives you voting privileges with respect to choosing the Executive team and special resolutions such as changes to bylaws.
