One of the most important ways parents/guardians and community members can make a meaningful difference for students is by participating on the school council. Under the Education Act, a school council is a collective association designed to advise the principal and the CBE Board of Trustees on matters related to the school. School councils have legislated advisory and decision-making authority. They are different from Parent Societies & Associations, whose main function is to raise funds for the school.​​ You can find more details in the CBE School Council Handbook​.​

Meeting Dates/Schedule

Meetings start at 6:30 PM on scheduled meeting dates. A link will be provided in advance of the meeting, until we can meet in person. We will be using Microsoft Teams for all virtual meetings. To access the meeting link, simply click on the date of the meeting below.

Agendas will be posted on the side a few days prior to the meeting. Minutes will be posted after the following meeting as they require approval before being posted. For example, the Minutes for the September meeting will be posted following approval at the October meeting.

If you would like topics added to the agenda, please email approximately one week before the scheduled meeting date.
