Dress Code

Standards of dress and grooming are expected to be respectable and appropriate. Hats are to be removed upon arrival. Clothing with improper messages or logos will not be permitted.

Indoor / Outdoor Shoes

In order to keep the school clean and safe, children are required to keep a pair of running shoes at school for indoor use only. These shoes must have non-marking soles. If students are unable to tie their own shoes they should have slip-ons or Velcro straps. Students are not allowed to be in school without shoes for potential emergency reasons, hygiene and overall safety. Proper footwear is required for our daily Physical Education program. Sandals and flip flop shoes are unsafe for P.E.

Inclement Weather

It is important that your child has outdoor clothes and footwear appropriate for the weather at all times. Students will be expected to wait outside before school in the morning, be outside for recess and after lunch unless the weather is extreme (-20ºC) or in very stormy, unsafe conditions.
