Personal Belongings

Care of Personal Property

The school is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal property. Students are advised to leave items of value at home and not share their locker combinations.

Lost & Found

Lost and found items are in every classroom and in a central location in the main hallway just outside of the Learning Commons. Please check the main Lost and Found frequently. Unclaimed items will be donated to charity after each parent-teacher conference and at the end of June. Please make sure to put your child’s name in their belongings to help prevent items from getting lost.

Personal Electronic Devices

Personal devices such as cell phones, IPads and other tablets may be used for instructional support with the permission of parents and the teachers. Otherwise, personal devices must be locked up or handed in during instructional time. Our school has a Digital Citizenship plan and an Acceptable Use Policy that addresses the appropriate use of electronic devices at school.

Bikes, Skateboards, Roller Blades or Heelies

Students may transport themselves to and from school on bicycles. Bike locks and safety helmets are necessary. Skateboards, rollerblades and heelies are not allowed on school property for safety reasons. This includes the roads and sidewalks surrounding the school during regular school hours.
