Please inform your child’s teacher of any health condition which may affect their well-being and academic achievement (I.e. hearing or sight impairment, diabetes, epilepsy, etc.).
Allergies
Stanley Jones School and Alice Jamieson Girls’ Academy strive to be a nut and scent free zone. Please support us in keeping all of our students healthy and in school by ensuring that your children do not bring nut products to school or wear scented deodorant or perfume. If your child has a life-threatening allergy or other medical condition that requires attention, please meet with a member of the administration team to develop a student health plan.
Medication
Any medications that are to be taken during school hours require a signed release form to be on file. If a student uses an inhaler or Epi-pen he/she needs to have this item with them at all times, and a student health plan form needs to be completed and kept on file to ensure that all staff are aware of the proper use of the medication.
