Principal September 2021 Message
Bienvenue! Welcome to the new school year. The staff at Sundance School would like to extend a warm welcome to all our families for the 2021-2022 school year. We are excited to welcome back returning students and introduce our wonderful Sundance community to our new students.

At Sundance, we live a culture of caring and that is evident as you step into our building and speak with teachers, administration and support staff. This enables us to focus on our primary objective, academic excellence and learning as unique as every student.

Currently we have approximately 424 students enrolled, which is close to our spring projections. Painting contractors, and CBE personnel worked diligently over the summer to ensure that these bright and beautiful spaces were ready for our students. In addition, we are especially fortunate this year to have two dedicated classrooms for music instruction and have the learning commons/library return for students to borrow books. A special thank you to our staff for their creativity in determining classroom locations, scheduling and setting up stimulating environments that maximize learning.

Our partnership with parents is extremely valued. Families who have been through Sundance agree that this is a special and unique school. We are anticipating that parents will begin to enter the school beginning in October once we have more direction from the system. Until then, we appreciate everything parents do behind the scenes to ensure a positive and successful experience for your child. Our staff will soon be working on their Google Classrooms to keep parents connected to the ongoing learning and classroom happenings of their child.
Looking ahead, we wish all our students a wonderful year of learning and growing and “Learning to Soar / Apprendre à s’élever”. Thank you, parents, for your commitment to public education and for allowing us such tremendous opportunities to be a part of your children’s learning experiences.
