Principal September 2022 School Message

Welcome back Sundance School families.

Gratitude is the new attitude!  We are all connected.

We can’t believe that the 2022-23 school year is here! We are very excited to be welcoming back existing Sundance students and well as all our new families after the summer break. We hope you enjoyed your time with family and students are feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
The start of a new school year brings excitement and anticipation with new friends waiting to be made, old friendships reconnecting, teachers to meet, learning to experience and curiosity to be nurtured.
We have many exciting learning opportunities in store this year for students, with the new outdoor learning space near the Kindergarten doors, as well as the new curriculums; English Language Art and Literature, Mathematics and Physical Education and Wellness.
We look forward to meeting you on our first day of school for all students in Grades 1-6 on Thursday, September 1. Our Kindergarten students will begin with staggered entry and will have received an email from the school indicating their date and time.  If you are new to Sundance and are unsure where to meet, look for a teacher wearing their supervision vest and they will be able to direct you to the proper meeting spot.
Weekly Updates will be sent to families so ensure that you have 'Subscribed to Stay Informed' so that you don't miss out on important school news.
