Traffic Safety

Ensuring our students get to school safely is everyone’s responsibility. Please be mindful of crosswalks, parking rules and speed limits when you are near our schools, especially during the morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal times.

Parking & Drop-Off

Staff Parking Lot is Off Limits

Parents are not permitted to enter the staff parking lot. Please follow posted signs. Use the roadway parallel to Sundance Lake Park. Our parking lot does not have sufficient space for staff so your understanding and cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Our bus zone on Sunmills Drive has to accommodate 5 buses. Please obey posted signs and help us to ensure a safe environment for all of our students. Consequences for ignoring these rules/posted signs have resulted in fines to parents issued by our schools’ resource officer (Calgary City Police Service).

Safety Patrols

Our senior students have the opportunity to become school patrollers. With commitment and hard work, their community service helps our school children cross Sunmills Drive at Sunvale Drive daily at 7:45, noon and after school. Please respect and follow their directions. It is the law and they are supported by the Calgary Police Service.
