There are many ways you can contribute to our school’s success, and make a difference for our school and our students. In our school, this can include providing in-kind donations, contributing cash and lending expertise and technical knowledge. Connect with our principal on what may be appropriate. For more information on ways to give to CBE, visit Donate on the CBE website.

Fundraisers & Donations

Casino May 27 & 28

The casino is the main fundraising activity for the Sunnyside School Society and it only happens every two years. We raise approximately $70,000 in two days – that is about $500 per child in our school.

The casino funds field trips, artist in residence, technology and supply purchases, and many of the other fun activities our children enjoy.  (Interested in learning more? Visit the Sunnyside School Parents website

The casino is Sunday, May 27 and Monday, May 28 at Casino Calgary, 1420 Meridian Rd NE, Calgary. Each volunteer raises about $2,000 for our school plus you get a free meal and the chance to hang out with other cool Sunnysiders. It’s win-win!
