​One way parents/guardians can make a meaningful difference for students is by participating on our school’s parent society. Parent societies are a formal group of parents, incorporated under the Societies Act for the purpose of raising funds for the school. A society is a separate legal entity from the school council. Parent Society

Our school Parent Society is known as Sunnyside School Society.

Our fundraising efforts provide a wide variety of enhancement activities for Sunnyside students such as: 

  • Artists in Residence
  • Fine Arts Performances
  • Field Trips
  • Swim Lessons
  • Technology
  • Naturalized Play Spaces

Everyone benefits when parents take a proactive and positive role in their child’s educational experience.
