Care of Personal Property
The school is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal property. Students are advised to leave items of value at home and not share their locker combinations.
Lost & Found
Students are advised to check the front foyer of the school for any items that may have been turned in. Items that are not picked up are sent to charitable organizations at the end of each month.
Personal Electronic Devices
Cell Phone Use
Cell phones are not to be used within the school—learning spaces or hallways--during the school day. Cell phone use is never allowed in any washroom or locker room. Students may access their phones when outside the building. Posting photos or videos of others, without their permission, is not allowed and can have legal implications. Any student who brings a cell phone to school also assumes all responsibility for its security—this is not the responsibility of the teachers or the school.
Bicycles
We certainly encourage active living practices with children such as riding a bicycle to school. Upon arrival at the school and for the safety of all students, cyclists are expected to walk bicycles on school grounds during school hours. When bicycles are brought to school they should be locked in the bicycle rack provided. The school cannot be responsible for bicycles damaged or stolen while they are at school.
Rollerblades, skateboards and scooters should be left at home as we do not have adequate storage facilities for these items.
