Concert Band

An optional musical opportunity, students within the Traditional Band program also have the chance to join, rehearse and perform as part of the Ted Harrison Concert Band. With before school rehearsals taking place twice a week, the Concert Band performs throughout the year at school-wide assemblies and parent concerts. Also each spring, the members of the Concert Band take part in the Ted Tour, performing at elementary schools in the area. Excelling to a higher level of musical performance, students in Concert Band bring the music program to life for many to see and hear.

The performance choir is made up of students from all grades at Ted Harrison School. Rehearsing during the lunch hour, and after school closer to performance dates, members of the choir work towards bringing their voices together in a harmonious way. Throughout the year, choir members bring their artistic touch to important ceremonies, fun-filled student assemblies, evening parent concerts and musical productions. Every member brings their own character to the group and provides Ted Harrison with a soundtrack for our year.
