Physical Education

At Ted Harrison, the Physical Education team is passionate about providing a wide variety of physical activities as well as health and wellness opportunities, which focus on promoting positive health, fitness, and movement skills for life. Throughout the course of their time here, students will be exposed to the different opportunities through daily Physical Education, in addition to Clubs, Intramurals, Health classes, and a variety of extra-curricular activities. Throughout the year students will explore and learn more about the connections to living a positive, holistic healthy lifestyle, the benefits of exercise, and the interpersonal skills necessary to working with others in a positive teamwork based way.

As a physical education team, we understand that a strong and effective Physical Education and Health program supports the physical, intellectual, and social-emotional development of our students. Our goal is to create a safe, caring, and personalized environment where we can empower our students to experience the wide variety of benefits to living an active lifestyle now and for the future. We are committed to instilling in our students the confidence, skills, and knowledge necessary to succeed in this area.
