​​​​​Fees will be charged to your MyCBE​ account beginning in October. School fees are due when assigned.

Annual system fees are set each year when the operating budget is passed by the Board of Trustees. To keep fees as low as possible, the CBE is committed to being as efficient as possible in the provision of services. Costs of providing the services include direct labour and supplies, as well as the cost of fee waivers and uncollectible accounts.

​It is important to know that we have a waiver process ​for families who cannot afford to pay the fees.

Fees

Fees at Thomas B. Riley

School fees have now been posted online. Field trip fees will be posted throughout the year so please check MyCBE/Powerschool account periodically.  Option fees (Art related courses, Construction, and Foods/Fashion courses) are charged per course per semester. First semester fee will be posted on November 1, and second semester option fees will be posted in February.  Deadline to  order yearbooks is the end of February.

PowerSchool Username  

Parents could you please update your CBE/Powerschool username if it contains a space or special characters?  You will not be able to access the fee module in Powerschool otherwise .

  1. Log into parent PowerSchool portal using an internet browser.
  2. On the lower left hand side, please go to account preferences, click on this option.
  3. From the next screen, please click on the pencil icon to edit the user name.
  4. Any spaces and special characters need to be removed for this to work for next log in attempt.
  5. Please be sure to save the changes and then log out of PowerSchool for this to take effect, thank you.
