CBE schools rely on Alberta Health Services (AHS) notification of confirmed COVID-19 cases that were infectious while at school.

AHS also determines if a school reaches outbreak status (10 or more confirmed cases within a 14 day period that were infectious while at school).

When schools notify their communities of possible exposure to COVID-19 and when AHS declares an outbreak due to any illness during the 2021-22 school year, it will be noted on the CBE website.

COVID-19 Precautions

If your child has any of the symptoms of illness listed on the Alberta Health daily checklist, please complete the online Alberta Health Services COVID-19 self-assessment or call Health Link at 8-11.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we take these additional measures to continue to support student learning.
